What is Twinkletown?

Twinkletown is a service to bring your video to life! Our video experts will combine your photos and videos with music and special effects. We create movies that bring your stories to life and allow you to experience and share your events, memories and special occasions in a whole new way.

Creating my movies

How will you create my movies?

Based on the description and requirements provided by you, Twinkletown will create a compelling movie from your media by using studio-standard video and photo software with trained experts.

What is included in the final movie?

Every movie produced by Twinkletown contains:

  • Video Stabilization
  • Title and Narrative text
  • Audio Leveling
  • Photo Editing (colour correction, red-eye removal, cropping & rotating)
  • Audio Effects
  • Video Effects
  • Background music
Do you scan paper photographs? Do you edit or accept film?

No. Twinkletown only works with photos and videos in digital formats which can be uploaded directly to our website or mobile applications.

We are happy to work with photo, video and audio files of any format.

Will my movies be made in High Definition (HD) or Standard Definition (SD)?

Movies produced by Twinkletown will always be optimized for a HD display experience.

SD has a maximum resolution of 480 lines of resolution. HD has a resolution of up to 1080 lines of resolution. HD delivers a much clearer, sharper image and file sizes and computer rendering times are much larger.

Privacy & Copyrights

How does Twinkletown protect my personal data and my files?

Twinkletown acknowledges your trust and is committed to protecting the information you provide us. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain accuracy and ensure proper use of information, we have employed physical, electronic and managerial processes to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. It is the responsibility of end users to keep their passwords and access codes private and not to share them with others.

Following are some of the measures of the level of security followed by Twinkletown:

  • 24x7 CCTV monitoring for all employees
  • No external memory devices like USB thumb drives and portable hard drives are permitted in the production facility
  • Remote working and data access is disabled for all staff. Media processing and data access can only be done at the production facility
  • No access to personal or corporate emails for production staff - who are the only ones provided access to your media
  • Raw files provided by the customer are deleted after a period of 60 days from the day the order is delivered
Why is my video is getting blocked by Facebook / Youtube / Vimeo?

If you use copyrighted music, then it is very likely that these sites will remove your video.

To make sure that your video is accepted and doesn't violate the music copyrights, you can either let Twinkletown choose the background music for your movies or own the appropriate copyrights / licenses of the music you would like to use.

How do I know if I have the copyright to use an image or video or music?

Copyrights laws are crucial to respect and protect authors. By agreeing to our Terms of Use, you agree not to include in your videos work (images, videos, music or text), which you don't have the license to use. A recommended rule of thumb is that "stuff found on the Internet" cannot be used to make derivative work (including it in a movie is considered 'derivative work') unless clearly stated otherwise by the author / creator.

Creative Commons is an organisation trying to make understanding copyrights easier for users like you. They offer great resources on their site to help you find media that you can rightfully use for your movies.

After my movie is completed

How do I make changes to my edited movie?

We will post the movie in your personal profile on our website for your review.

Please watch your completed movie closely. If you want to make a change to your movie, please submit your comments on the Review page with the specific editorial directions.

Depending on the length of the movie you ordered, Twinkletown allows one or two free round of corrections and changes. After that, you will be charged an editing fee for any changes made to your movie.

How long after the movie is completed can I ask for revisions and additions?

Customers can request for changes, additions or updates to their movies within 60 days of completion of their movie. After that Twinkletown will remove the customer's raw media files from our servers.

I have submitted my order successfully. Can I make any changes or additions to my order?

Absolutely! Once you have placed your order, you can purchase any of the following options to your movie:

  • Extra edits /revisions
  • Additional media files
  • Audio effects
  • Video effects
How can I view the final movie?

You can download your movie from Twinkletown's website. We will also upload the movie to Twinkletown's YouTube channel for your convenience.

Payments & Account information

How long will Twinkletown retain my data?

Completed movies will always be available in your profile page.

Raw files provided by the customer will be deleted after a period of 30 days from the day the order is delivered.

Twinkletown does not retain any financial information related to your credit cards on its servers.

What payment methods can I use?

We accept any credit card such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover or JCB.
